Description
The Giant Revolt Advanced 2 is a confident composite gravel bike for riders who want one drop-bar machine to cover events, training and the kind of weekend ride that ends with bike-packing bags strapped on. It is the GRX 2×12 build of the carbon Revolt platform, balancing range, refinement and price.
Frame & ride
The Advanced-grade composite frame uses dropped seatstays with slimmer tubing to dial out high-frequency vibration, while a flip-chip rear dropout switches between a shorter, sharper wheelbase and a longer, more stable setup with up to 53mm of tyre clearance. Internal cable routing keeps the cockpit clean, the down tube hides a sealed in-frame storage compartment, and integrated mounts on the top tube, fork legs and dropouts open the door to bottle cages, racks and bikepacking accessories.
Shifting is handled by Shimano GRX RX-610 2×12 levers feeding GRX RX-820 derailleurs front and rear, with an FSA Omega Modular AGX+ 32/48 chainset and a Shimano CS-HG710 11-36 cassette providing both the easier ratios for loaded climbs and the closer steps you want when the pace lifts. Shimano GRX RX-410 hydraulic discs with 160mm rotors keep stopping consistent, and Giant P-X2 Disc alloy wheels arrive tubeless prepared with 700x40c Giant Crosscut Grip TR tyres.
