Description

The Cube Touring Hybrid One 625 is built around a single, sensible idea: an electric hybrid that gets out of its own way. The Bosch Performance motor is neatly tucked into the bottom bracket area, the 625Wh PowerTube battery sits inside the down tube, and Bosch’s Smart System ties the whole thing together for a riding experience that feels less like wrestling an e-bike and more like having a strong tailwind on demand.

The frame uses Cube’s Aluminium Superlite construction with Gravity Casting Technology and their Efficient Comfort Geometry, which puts the rider in a more upright, easy-on-the-back position that suits long days, varied terrain and city traffic. A 63mm-travel SR Suntour NVX30 coil suspension fork takes the worst out of broken pavements and country lanes. Practical touches are everywhere: a hidden tool integrated into the seat clamp lever, a semi-integrated rear carrier, full-length mudguards, kickstand, ACID chain guard and a complete light set with a Purion 200 display.

The drivetrain is Shimano’s 9-speed Cues system, which keeps maintenance simple and the gear range broad - genuinely useful when you’ve got a load on the carrier or a steep hill in front of you. Shimano hydraulic disc brakes with 180mm rotors keep stopping distances tidy when the panniers are full, and the 55mm Schwalbe Big Apple tyres roll smoothly while giving plenty of cushioning over rougher surfaces.
