Description
The Giant Revolt 0 is a do-it-all aluminium gravel bike aimed at riders who want one capable drop-bar machine for backroads, byways and mixed-surface adventures. It is the sweet-spot Revolt build for someone who wants a sorted GRX 2x drivetrain and a composite fork without stepping up to the carbon-framed Advanced models.
Frame & ride
The frame is ALUXX-grade aluminium with a flip-chip rear dropout that lets you choose between a sharper, shorter wheelbase or a longer, more stable setup with up to 53mm of tyre clearance. An Advanced-grade composite OverDrive fork keeps the front end precise and trims weight up front. Endurance-leaning geometry, dropped seatstays and the D-Fuse handlebar and seatpost work together to soften the buzz that comes with rougher tracks, so you can stay comfortable on longer days out.
Shifting is taken care of by Shimano GRX RX-610 2×12 levers paired with GRX RX-820 mechs, an FSA Omega Modular AGX+ 32/48 chainset and a Shimano 105 11-34 cassette. GRX RX-410 hydraulic discs with 160mm rotors keep things controlled on loose descents, and the Giant S-X2 wheelset rolls on tubeless-set-up Maxxis Rambler 700x40c rubber, a versatile, fast-rolling tread for hardpack and dry trails.
