Giant Revolt X 1 - Suspension Gravel Bike (Helios Orange)

Description

The Giant Revolt X 1 is for gravel riders who want their drop-bar bike to behave a little more like a hardtail on rough days. With 40mm of front suspension travel, a dropper post and serious tyre clearance, it widens the kind of terrain you can confidently point the front wheel at.

Frame & ride

The chassis is built around an ALUXX-grade aluminium frame designed specifically for a suspension fork, with geometry adjusted for the extra stack and travel. Dropped seatstays trim some of the chatter coming up through the rear, and the flip-chip dropout lets you fine-tune the wheelbase and tyre fit, with up to 53mm of clearance in the long position. A RockShox Rudy XPLR fork with cartridge damper smooths out the loose, chunky surfaces that would shake a rigid gravel bike off-line.

The 1×12 SRAM Apex transmission runs a 40T chainring with a SRAM PG-1210 11-50 cassette, an enormous range that copes with steep, technical climbs while still pulling cleanly on tarmac transitions. SRAM hydraulic discs with PaceLine 160mm rotors handle stopping. The Giant P-X2 EVO Disc wheelset comes tubeless prepared with 700x45c Giant CrossCut Grip 1 tyres, and the Postmodern dropper post with 25mm of integrated suspension lets you drop the saddle for descents.
